Marie and I are both pilots and we both have a great interest in aviation. In the early 70's flying 
was a part of my occupation, flying out of the Chicagoland area. Marie became very involved in 
aviation later in life,and participated as pilot in some International Air Races.The business
of selling aviation Tshirts was a natural for us. Marie, David Scot, Sheryl, Charlene, and
myself have worked as a family selling T-shirts to Americas largest Air Shows for nearly
35 years. Applewood Inc. is well known in the aviation circle for having quality products,
and we have many repeat customers every year.

All our designs are first a hand drawn illustration and then prepared for screenprinting.
We do all our own  design and screenprinting here in the mountains of Asheville, North
